Chris and team at O’Donnell Solar are incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Along with O’Donnell Roofing, they provided a seamless, turnkey solar system installation on top of a new roof. Chris ran analysis to properly size and locate the solar array on our roof according to areas with best sun exposure, and was more than willing to run several different scenarios when I asked. O’Donnell handled design, permitting, procurement, installation, and system startup. They interfaced with PECO and the building department for all inspections and approvals. Their installation was neat and well executed, and the whole team was a class act. Even got to meet Mr. O’Donnell, who is a great guy, and passionate about solar. When the project was completed, Chris delivered a detailed project manual, and made sure the system interface and app were functioning properly and easy to understand. If you’re considering adding solar to your home, I would highly recommend them.

Working with the utility was the most challenging part of the process and caused some delays that should be expected by anyone thinking about installing solar. O’Donnell was able to effectively respond to the utility provider’s comments and move forward quickly. Even though I work from home, the installation was minimally disruptive during challenging weather conditions. I’m very satisfied with the quality of the installation and the manufacturers products installed so far. The features for monitoring and controlling the system through both browser and smartphone app work great. I highly recommend this company.
