Solar Installer

Do you enjoy working outdoors? Do you get satisfaction from building new things every day? Do you have an eye for detail and take pride in your work? If so, a solar installer job might be right for you.

  • Evaluate roof dimensions and conditions in conjunction with site plans for the installation of solar panels
  • Lay out and install of all rooftop solar components including flashing, mounting structures, power electronics and solar panels following site plans and engineering diagrams
  • Basic wiring and connection of solar panels and rooftop power electronics based on wiring diagram
    • Ensure that all work is done safely and in accordance with OSHA standards
    • Ensure that all work is done at the highest level of quality
    • Maintain a clean work site and leave the building owner’s property in the same or better condition than when you arrived
    • Be reliable and arrive to company locations or jobsites on time
    • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
    • Must be able to carry 50 pounds up a ladder
    • Must have valid drivers license
    • Maintain a neat and professional appearance
    • Good communication and attitude and ability to work in a team

    Solar Electrician

    Have you mastered your trade, but are still looking for more? Do you enjoy learning about new technology? Curious about clean energy? If so, we’re looking for a rock solid electrician. 

    • Install various types of solar PV equipment and battery systems per line diagrams and site plans
    • Main panel upgrades
    • Troubleshooting any issues that arise
    • Ensure that all work is done safely and in accordance with NEC and OSHA standards
    • Ensure that all work is done at the highest level of quality and maintains a neat appearance
    • Maintain a clean work site and leave the building owner’s property in the same or better condition than when you arrived
    • Be reliable and arrive to company locations or jobsites on time
    • Must have electrician’s license in PA and Philadelphia. Licensed in NJ and DE are a bonus.
    • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
    • Maintain a neat a professional appearance
    • Good communication and attitude and ability to work with various team members

    Project Manager

    Do you enjoy mixing it up and working both indoors and outdoors? Do you get satisfaction from pulling a a team together and taking a project from start to finish? Do you like solving problems and delivering results? If so, project manager might be right for you. 

    • Maintain a project portfolio, track project statuses and proactively seek to move projects to the next step through completion 
    • Communicate with and coordinate the activities of suppliers, installation teams, building owners, inspectors, utilities and other parties
    • Visit jobsites to inspect project progress and ensure that project steps are completed on schedule
    • Efficiently solve any issues that arise
    • Maintain project schedules
    • Ensure that all work is done at the highest level of quality
    • Ensure that projects are completed within budget
    • Maintain excellent communication with customers and ensure that they are satisfied throughout the project
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to understand all project steps and the parties involved
    • Ability to manage many projects at various stages at once
    • Ability to use standard computer software (Windows, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint) as well as solar and company-specific software
    • Be proactive in order to avoid problems and be able to efficiently solve problems if they arise
    • Excellent communication and attitude and ability to work with many different types of project participants is a must!

    Installation Trade Partner

    We are seeking both small and large solar panel installation trade partners for part-time and, eventually, full-time work that will serve the following counties in PA: Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, Bucks (and expand as we grow). To qualify, they must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, with an in-depth understanding of solar equipment installation (various module types, Unirac, Enphase, SolarEdge, etc), and troubleshooting existing systems. Must have the appropriate certifications, insurances, availability, and scheduling.
